The Office of International Students assists students during their transition to Florida Southern and the United States.

Multicultural Center Director Thomas Range seeks to have an ongoing relationship with each international student. He strives to assist students with immigration and employment regulations, legal rights and responsibilities, adjustment to Lakeland and the United States, and other various personal concerns.

International Student To-Do

Once You’re On Campus...

Check in with Thomas Range at the Simmons Multicultural Center. As a new first-year or transfer student coming to Florida Southern College you will need to make an appointment to meet with Mr. Range upon your arrival. You will need to bring four documents: your passport, visa, I-20, and I-94.

About to Graduate?

If it is your last semester but you wish to stay in the United States and work, the Optional Practical Training (OPT) application and information may be for you.
