Dr. Clements began as an adjunct instructor in 1984 and has been teaching accounting ever since.

She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Institute of Management Accountants (IMA), the American Accounting Association, and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners.

Her interests include family activities, reading, travel, and music.
