It was an urge to tinker that evolved into a career in medicine for Stan Castor. A plastic surgeon at Lakeland’s Watson Clinic, Castor remembers as a child taking things apart and reassembling them to see how they worked. That interest evolved into fixing people. His satisfaction comes from seeing patients improve not just on the outside, but inside as well.

Florida Southern’s undergraduate program prepared Stan Castor for his medical school days of challenging programs and intimidating students from Ivy League schools. “I think FSC provided solid pre-med course work to be successful in any medical school in the U.S.”
