Celebrate Founders Day with the presentation of the Distinguished Alumni Achievement Awards and the installation of Florida Southern’s 82nd honorary chancellor, best-selling author Nicholas Sparks. In addition to his acclaimed novels—including The Notebook, Message in a Bottle, Nights in Rodanthe, The Longest Ride, and See Me—the movie adaptations of Sparks’ books have become the most iconic romantic feature films of a whole new generation.
