What do you enjoy most about working with prospective students?
Right now I’m working with transfer students from all states, including Florida. Transfer students usually have college and life experiences to share, and I love to hear their personal stories.

You’ve worked in the Office of Admissions for nearly 13 years. What do you like most about being involved with FSC’s recruitment efforts?
Our team members are very genuine and people-friendly, which makes for a pleasant work environment.

Do you have a favorite spot on Florida Southern’s campus?
Nina Hollis Wellness Center. Views from there are the very best.

What’s the best tradition or campus event at Florida Southern?
I really enjoy the annual Christmas program by the Music Department.

From your perspective, what is the #1 thing students should check out at Florida Southern?
Aside from the beautiful campus and incredible views, I’d encourage taking the time to sit in on a class and experience the excitement of engaged learning.

Any favorite restaurants or hangouts in Lakeland?
Bay Street Bistro. I enjoy the atmosphere and local art. Local entertainment after dinner is also especially good on the weekends.

What’s your favorite food on campus?
Warm wraps at Wynee’s Bistro. Mmmmmm…

Any hobbies or outside interests?
I like to view new art exhibits, repurpose and recycle furniture, and go to different outdoor festivals…especially at Disney World and EPCOT.
