Where are you from?
What do you enjoy most about working with prospective students?
Helping students is my favorite part of admissions. I love establishing relationships that extend far beyond the admissions process. It is truly rewarding experience. During the admissions process, I work so closely with many students that by the time they come to FSC, I already have a strong connection with them and their families. I am always eager to meet new students from all over the United States and introduce them to the family I’ve found at FSC.
What’s your favorite spot on Florida Southern’s campus?
Definitely the Nina B. Hollis Wellness Center! You can find me there every morning before work. With its lakefront location, you always have a great view—whether you are biking, lifting weights, or participating in group exercise. Some of my favorite college memories are recreation opportunities offered through the Wellness Center. I went rock climbing, canoeing, and kayaking at the Weeki Wachee Springs. And with 330 days of sunshine each year in Lakeland, the pool is certainly a hot spot, as well!
What’s the best tradition or campus event at Florida Southern?
The week of Impact is the best! Florida Southern provides many volunteering opportunities throughout the year, and FSC students make tremendous contributions—logging more than 32,000 hours annually. Service is a great way to develop leadership skills and contribute to making our community a better place to live.
Describe a perfect Saturday in Lakeland.
My ideal Saturday would involve walking beautiful Lake Hollingsworth with my dog, Pixie, and spending time by the pool to enjoy the beautiful Florida sunshine. Later I would browse through selections at the Downtown Lakeland Farmer’s Market and try a new restaurant for dinner.

Any favorite restaurants or hangouts in Lakeland?
Chef T’s Garden Grill. Located about ten minutes from campus, it is always a truly unique dining experience! The menu is constantly changing based on what is fresh and in season at that time. You must check it out when you are in town!
Any hobbies or outside interests?
I enjoy traveling, shopping, and keeping an active healthy lifestyle.
