Day on Campus
October 11, 2008, November 8, 2008
January 31, 2009

We would love for you experience Florida Southern firsthand! Register today.

See yourself at Florida Southern. Go ahead—sit back, close your eyes, and envision the invigorating class discussions, the warmth of the sun on your face as you wander around the lake, the stimulating conversation between students and faculty, the staff that go out of their way for you, the scent of hamburgers being grilled for a block party, the shouts coming from the baseball stadium…

Okay, time to stop daydreaming. Get yourself to campus! In fact, spend the whole day here. Tour our buildings—including the world’s largest single-site collection of Frank Lloyd Wright architecture and residence halls. Stroll the grounds of our beautiful 100-acre campus near scenic Lake Hollingsworth. Experience all of the above—and more—firsthand.

That’s the purpose of our “Day on Campus” programs. Scheduled throughout the academic year, these programs are designed to connect you to the Florida Southern experience. While here, you can:

  • Discuss your educational and career goals with an admissions counselor. We’d like to get to know you, your goals, and how you can contribute to the FSC community.

  • Meet with faculty in your area(s) of interest.

  • Connect with current students. They know this place better than anyone—and you can count on them to tell it like it is.

  • Explore your financial aid and scholarship options. Let us show you how we can make FSC’s high-quality private education like the one you’d receive at FSC affordable for you and your family. Our cost is lower than the national average for private schools, and more than 90 percent of our students receive scholarships and awards funded by the College.

  • Attend a campus event. There are at least a dozen events going on in any given week.

  • Purchase a souvenir at the campus bookstore. You’ll want to take home a Mocs T-shirt or hat.

Here’s the scoop: The program begins with registration at 9:00 a.m., followed by a full morning of activities that ends no later than 2:00 p.m. (lunch included). There will be several optional sessions for interested families from 1:15 – 2:00 and again from 2:00 – 2:45. This is the perfect opportunity to get all of your questions answered. Then spend the rest of the afternoon checking things out on your own. Register online or call us toll-free at (800)-274-4131 or locally at 680-4131 between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
