This is the 6th Exec/Connect program. The program was conceived by Robert Scharar of FCA Corp, Houston,TX to provide practical training in an academic setting, principally for management involved in Nico Holdings Ltd, a Malawi, Africa based regional insurance and banking group. The program was expanded to include other business, NGO and government managers from other parts of Africa. In 2011, Florida Southern College, the oldest institution of higher learning in the State of Florida joined in and the site was changed to their campus in Lakeland, Florida (voted the most beautiful college campus in America in 2011 and 2012 by The Princeton Review). Using class curriculum similar to that offered to FSC MBA students, the program offers a concentrated academic program complemented by interaction with business leaders and exposure to America culture and political systems.
