Florida Southern College's Department of Military Science has been an FSC institution since 1951. The Army Reserve Officer's Training Corps (ROTC) is an integral and valued member of the Florida Southern family. The Moccasin Battalion was recently ranked in the Top 15% in the nation for the second year in a row and provides quality leadership and military training to the future officer leadership of the United States Army.
