Student/Faculty Collaborative Research and Creative Activities, 2001-2003

The following projects were conducted during summer 2001 through summer 2003 at Florida Southern College.  Among the tangible results, students presented their findings at conferences and meetings of the American Chemical Society, the Mathematics Association of America, the Georgia Undergraduate Research Council, the Florida State Horticulture Society, the American Popular Culture Association, and the Florida College English Association.  A number of publications have resulted as well.  As one student noted, "Being a published author of a scientific paper will do wonders for my career.  Experiencing work of this caliber is an opportunity that most students don't get while still an undergraduate."
