Pre-Physical Therapy Studies

During the 1997-98 Academic Year, Florida Southern initiated a four-year program in Pre-Physical Therapy (PPT). Under the guidance of the Biology Department, this program is geared towards entering freshman. The program is limited to 30 students and includes supervised internships in physical therapy.

PPT majors are biology majors and follow the program originally designed for pre-med students. Students accepted into the program must maintain a 3.5 GPA to remain in the program and participate in internship opportunities.

After attaining your B.S. degree in Biology at Florida Southern, you will be channeled to a Masters program at another institution to obtain the M.S. degree required for employment.
