Designed for men and women who are passionate about caring for people, Florida Southern's Pre-licensure BSN program combines innovative technology and hands-on clinical experiences with traditional classroom learning to teach you the skills you need to be an excellent nurse.

Providing you with principles and knowledge from the biological and behavioral sciences, a general education as well as the science of nursing, our full-time degree program will prepare you to sit for the national licensure examination for Registered Nurses.

Along with learning how to examine patients and to treat their immediate needs, keeping up the health of people with long-term conditions, you will become adept at handling critical situations in a variety of health care settings. 

The integration of theoretical knowledge into clinical practice  is an important aspect of professional nursing education at Florida Southern.  Through your clinical experience you will come to understand the importance of nursing care in today’s global health-care system while making a difference in the community by working with area agencies on important, practical projects that will help improve health services for patients.
