Nurse Educators combine clinical expertise and a passion for teaching into rich and rewarding careers.
Working in the classroom and in clinical settings, you will be responsible for preparing and mentoring other nurses. Serving as a role model and providing leadership, you will design, implement, and evaluate educational programs for nurses, playing a critical part in assuring quality educational experiences that prepare the nursing work force for a diverse, ever-changing healthcare environment.
Requiring you to complete 37 credit hours; including a scholarly project, and 350 practice hours, the Nurse Educator Track will prepare you to teach in both academic and healthcare settings, while providing a foundation of clinical excellence.
As a graduate, you also will be prepared to sit for the Certified Nurse Educator national certification examination through the National League for Nursing.
