Sigma Delta Pi: The National Hispanic Honor Fraternity honors those who pursue and attain excellence in the study of the Spanish language and in the study of the literature and culture of the Spanish-speaking people. It also encourages our students to acquire a greater interest and deeper understanding of Hispanic Culture, and fosters friendly relations and mutual respect between the nations of Hispanic Speech and those of English Speech. The Spanish Club and Café Hispano are geared towards exposing students to the Spanish language and Latin American culture. In the Spanish Club and Café Hispano, students have the possibility of improving their Spanish language skills and exposing themselves to a number of cultural acts ranging from participation in events such as: Hispanic Festival, Día de los muertos, Film Festival, and of course Fiestas! All of which are great opportunities that allow students to come in contact with native Spanish speakers and improve their language skills. Contact Dr. Tolentino at atolentinosolano@flsouthern.edu
