Looking for Art on the Net
The following are some sites I've found that might help students looking for artwork on the net. These are mostly general sites or museums that allow students to view images by period, artist or theme. If you have any addresses or suggestions, please email me.

This site, designed by Nicholas Pioch is quite extensive and allows you to connect with the closest server (ours here in FL is at UCF).
The library's Art in Context web site provides free public access to information that is added by curators, dealers, artists, writers and others from around the world. On the Web since 1995, now serving over 700,000 images per month and viewed by over 50,000,000 visitors, Art in Context is in the top 1% of the most linked-to sites on the Internet. Member Metropolitan New York Library Council.

The Russian Art Gallery is a non-commercial presentation of Russian art intended for educational purposes.
It's in Minnesota; go figure.
