Admission Criteria

To be admitted to the Master of Education in Collaborative Teaching and Learning, applicants must have graduated from a state-approved or regionally accredited college or university with a Bachelor degree. A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 overall or a composite test score of 1000 on the Graduate Record Examination (GRE) or a score of 393 on the Miller Analogies Test (MAT). Applicants must hold or be fully eligible for the Florida Professional Educator Certificate.

Steps to applying for the MEd program:

  1. Complete the Graduate Application online.
  2. Send original and official transcripts from all colleges and universities to the: Graduate Program Office

  3. Prepare and submit a personal letter of application stating your personal accomplishments, educational philosophy, and personal/professional goals.
  4. Submit three recommendation forms/ letters of reference attesting to suitability of pursuit of an MEd degree.
  5. Submit a resume that includes both educational and professional work experience.
