Fall 2011
Peru - Photographs from the 2011 Study Abroad Trip
September 9 to September 23
Opening Reception: Friday, September 9, 7 p.m.
During the month of May, Florida Southern students and faculty embarked on a study-abroad trip throughout Peru. Thousands of photos were taken by students in Advanced Digital Photography classes taught by Eric Blackmore. The photographs in this exhibition document their travels. The selected images were edited, refined, and printed by the students.
Blacklight by Al Kriston
September 30 to October 28
Opening Reception: Friday, September 30, 7 p.m.
The works of Albert Kriston are the result of a vigorous, honest and at times, very sentimental man. Poetic flights of vision contrast with strong, solid impressions of the realities of everyday life. He portrays both the lightness of our imagination and the heaviness of reality in his depictions of everything from the whimsical, poetical, musical world to the world of hard working people he wishes to portray. Come see his exhibition of award winning work and an impressive display of blacklight sculpture.

Spring 2012
Dewane Hughes - Sculpture
January 20 to February 24
Opening Reception: Friday, January 20, 7 p.m.
"... I create, construct, conduct, and convert the viewer (spectator) from audience to witness. A witness has an understanding that an audience has not. A witness bears the responsibility of a knowledge possessed by only a few. A witness can give detail to the crime, explain the magic to the trick, and can preach to the glory of both."
