Course recommendations for Pre-Medical/Pre-Dental Studies students
Florida Southern College advises pre-medical students to meet more than the suggested minimum, but to avoid overemphasis in the natural sciences.
Courses that are recommended before taking the MCAT exam include:

| Pre-medical freshmen usually begin chemistry in the first semester. Two years of chemistry must be completed before taking the MCAT. |
