Pre-Medical, Pre-Dental and
Pre-Veterinary Studies

Medically Allied Pre-Professional Program for the MD, DO, DDS, DVM and related degrees

In recent years, FSC graduates have gained admittance to some of the most competitive medical, dental and veterinary schools in the country because they have taken rigorous courses and have had well-rounded college experiences.

Because medical schools desire students with a broad range of academic interests, pre-medical students may major in any department or division—the humanities, social sciences, natural sciences—as they prepare for medical school as long as they complete several courses that medical schools require such as organic chemistry and introductory biology.

Students interested in applying for the Program with USF-COM, should contact Dr. Robert Baum, our Pre-medical Studies Coordinator, for access to the application forms.

A liberal arts degree can help students develop strong communication, logical-thinking, and decision-making skills that provide an advantage in the application process and in professional practice.
