• The Association of Computing Machinery (ACM) has many links of interest to computer science students and professionals. For example, upon entering this site, there is a "Computing News" selection on the menu which leads to links to computing news on a variety of topics from a variety of sources.
• The Computer Society of the IEEE has many links of interest to computer science students and professionals. For example, upon entering this site, there is a 'Career Development and Education" selection on the menu which leads to a page providing college and career information.

• MAA ONLINE has several links of interest to students.Many of these have further links to other related sites. For example, upon entering this site, there is a student selection on the menu which leads to further items of interest such as a career site, and sites advertising upcoming meetings, and student research opportunities.
• The American Mathematical Society offers many interesting sites, most of interest to professionals, but some of interest to students.
• Mathworld, advertised as "the web's most extensive mathematics resource". There are numerous destinations of interest through this portal, including brief descriptions of various subfields of mathematics and many interesting items. There is also search capability allowing the user to access statements of theorems or discussions of a wide variety of topics.
• Cut-the-Knot has many interesting further links for perusal into facts about mathematics and mathematicians. For example, it has quotations, puzzles, explanations on Farey sequences, Pick's Theorem and how these two are related, and much much more.
