Michael McElveen
Associate Director of Wellness Programs

Michael joined the Wellness & Recreation team in June 2007.

Michael holds a bachelors of science in health science and a master of science in sports medicine from Armstrong Atlantic State University. He is a certified strength and conditioning specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA), a Performance Enhancement Specialist (PES) through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM), a Nutrition Specialist through American Academy of Sports Dietitian and Nutritionist (AASDN), and a tobacco cessation facilitator through the Florida Area Health Education Centers (AHEC) Network. In addition, Michael serves as an AASDN Sports Nutrition Instructor and a Senior Level Instructor for Lifestyle Management Associates.
