Who Can Attend?
The camp is open to students entering 12th – 7th grade in the FALL of 2013 (next school year). Students must have at least one year of playing experience and their director’s signature. Enrollment for the camp is limited due to dorm space, as always, waiting lists will develop.

Tuition:
RESIDENT CAMPER ($435)
Fees for a “Resident Camper” include housing, meals as listed, facilities, T-shirt, organized evening activities, group and individual instruction.
DAY CAMPER ($310)
Fees for a “Day Camper” include lunch M-F, facilities, T-shirt, organized evening ctivities, group and individual instruction.
Registration:
Complete registration form and return with a required, non-refundable $75 deposit (which applies toward the camp tuition) by the deadline – June 13, 2013! The balance of the tuition must be made by Thursday, June 13 via online, check or money order payments.
If you should miss the deadline, please note that only cash or money orders will be accepted at the Registration Desk on Sunday, June 23, 2013.

Check or Money Orders must be made PAYABLE TO: Florida Southern College Band Camp.

Facilities:
Resident Campers will be living on campus and will enjoy spacious, air-conditioned rooms in the resident dormitories. Students are under EXCELLENT adult supervision at all times. Resident Campers will be served three meals a day! Resident Campers will not be allowed to leave campus, except for an emergency. All students living outside the Lakeland area are expected to be “Resident Campers” and reside in the residence dormitory. NEW: Concert FRIDAY NIGHT & CHECK OUT
Day Campers will be attending all rehearsals, concerts, and performances beginning on Sunday, June 24. Day Campers will be provided lunch Monday – Friday and may also participate in ALL evening camp activities. NEW: Concert FRIDAY NIGHT
Band Placement:
During the Sunday, June 23rd Registration students will do a “short” audition to help the staff place them in a band based on their ability. This will ensure the student receives the best instruction possible! The student can prepare one of the All-State Etudes, a short solo, or anything showing their playing ability. Students will also be asked to play some of their scales. PERCUSSION will be auditioning on Snare, Mallet, and Tympani. BRING ALL YOUR STICKS and MALLETS.
