The Music Department is committed to providing young musicians the best possible education in the areas of performance, history/literature, and theory, essential in enabling students to pursue careers in music or to continue studies at the graduate level. In service to the campus-at-wide, the department seeks to provide curricular studies in music for all through Cornerstone (general education) courses, applied music lessons, chamber ensembles, and major ensembles. The Music Department seeks to provide the wider Central Florida community with outstanding performances by faculty, guest artists, and students in solo, ensemble, and master class venues.
